Training and Events
CST can be administered by a range of professions working in dementia care, such as Care Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists or Nurses. Attending CST training teaches people to apply the key principles during CST, encouraging its use in a standardised, person-centred and effective way.
Training is led by Dr Aimee Spector, who with her team designed CST and conducted the research trial. She is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in offering CST. Training is interactive, involving group discussion, exercises, video observation and role-play, as well as some 'teaching'.
In-house training is available around the UK and Europe, which involves training up to 25 people within a particular setting. For details, please contact Dr. Aimee Spector
